Little Book of Big Babes Giveaway!

OMG! I’m beyond excited to share this post with you. It’s part fat fashion, part fabulous femmes, and part giveaway for TWO of you! Yay! But I’m getting a bit ahead of myself. So almost a year ago, I was contacted by Rachelle Abellar, who is AMAZING! Not only has she written an amazing self-care zine but she also founded Pacific Northwest Fatitude. She’s an intersectional feminist of color and I absolutely adore her. So when she contacted me to be a part of her upcoming project featuring fatshion bloggers, I knew the only answer could be YES YES YES! Then something even more amazing happened. I found out that my dear Ilse from Full Figured Potential was contacted to be a part of it too! Naturally, we got together to shoot photos for Rachelle. It was a super fun day and the photos came out beautiful. You can see some of the ones Ilse shot of me in this post and some of the ones I shot of her in her blog post about the book here. We shot these actually right before I modeled for these photos for Aurora Lady. So it was a double photo shoot day for me! But back to the book The Little Book of Big Babes is an amazing compilation of beautiful fat babes showing off their amazing style. I couldn’t be more proud to be included in this anthology among so many other amazing babes, including people like Ilse that I hold near and dear to my heart, people I have followed online for years, and new folks that are inspiring me with their fat bodies and their rad clothes! So this is the first time I’ve worn this outfit. I have sheer and lace shirts that I always feel too self-conscious to wear. Shooting with Ilse meant a very safe space of queer femmes in her back patio. I also knew I wanted to wear something that showcased my body type because this book is all about being a fat babe. I just had to! And amazingly, wearing this helped me gain a bit more confidence when it comes to wearing things out of my comfort zone. Because fuck flattering, right? Here’s some outfit details if you’re wondering: Blue cat eye glasses: Zenni Optical Blue lace crop top: H&M, thrifted Striped high-waisted shorts: Mode Plus Black cut-out flats: Ross If you want to get in on this fashion bible, you can purchase it here. Please consider supporting Rachelle’s hard work plus the hard work of everyone who contributed! Even if you don’t identify as fat, it’s the perfect fashion bible for anyone of any size. Be inspired, check out different types of body types, and revel in all of our beauty. We’re worth it! And now for the part you’ve been waiting for! I am giving away two copies of the book for my amazing followers! All you have to do is enter via the widget below. a Rafflecopter giveaway I can’t wait to see who wins! Best of luck to everyone!
